This stylized butterfly is a charming Navajo brooch in turquoise and coin silver. The coin silver wings are given dimension using a repouss?? metalworking technique. Rocker stamps and engraving embellish the silver. A gorgeous green turquoise is set in the sweet butterfly's belly. The lightweight brooch fastens with a rollover pin clasp. This piece has the unique charm of a handmade jewel. Circa 1960.
